SueAnn Naso Named One of Crain's Cleveland Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders

 

We are excited to announce that our President and CEO, Sue Ann Naso, has been named one of Crain’s Cleveland Business Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders for 2023. This prestigious recognition is a testament to SueAnn’s exceptional contributions to the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio and her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

SueAnn is entering her eighth year as a board member and her second year as board chair at the Second Harvest Food Bank. Her dedication and leadership have been instrumental in driving meaningful change within the organization. SueAnn’s extensive knowledge and belief in the mission led her to attend an out-of-state conference to gain a deeper understanding of the food bank’s needs, showcasing her commitment to making a difference.

At Second Harvest, SueAnn’s impactful HR expertise has resulted in record-low turnover and improved employee benefits, fostering a healthier work-life balance for staff members. Second Harvest Food Bank expressed their gratitude, stating, “Her passion for our mission, tireless efforts, and strategic insights have undoubtedly played a pivotal role in our success.”

SueAnn’s commitment extends beyond her leadership at Staffing Solutions Enterprises and Board Chair at Second Harvest Food Bank. She is a dedicated advocate for various causes, including hunger relief, education and civic leadership. SueAnn is passionate about removing barriers that hinder people from reaching their full potential, SueAnn serves as the board chair of Engage! Cleveland, is a founding member of the Executive HR Women’s Network, and serves as a board member of Achieve Staffing (a subsidiary of Towards Employment).

Her extensive volunteer and community activities include involvement in In Council With Women,  and GCP’s Middle Market steering committee, among many others. SueAnn’s diverse and impactful engagement across our community reflects her commitment to creating positive change on multiple fronts.
